The potentiometer has a very short route, it gets full right away and there is still a long way to go. But it's ideal for the airbrush cabin I'm getting.

great little fan. the variable speed dial goes from 1-5 but it only ranged between 1 and 2.5 (meaning it maxes out at top speed at 2.5 and then is the same max speed from 2.5-5. it's really not an issue as it has variable control from off to max, it just ranged on the lower half of the dial. I assume this variable speed dial is made to regulate a higher load/motor. Not a complaint at all, just knowledge. the fan is powerful enough to pull the fumes from my soldering station.
